Extra! Extra! PT Green Gets Ink on Rival Weblog
The Dead Money blog gave us shout out! As you might recall, those guys are hella intense and apparently don't appreciate a good spritzer, cab sauv, or even a zin from Napa. Jeez, I'll take 2!!!
These guys also apparently aren't big fans of using exclamation points, the word Jeez!, or anything else that is PTG. However, the author must not have a large following of readers (he claims between 2 and 4 ppl, OMG!) and is even asking for people to leave comments and rate his posts.
Meanwhile, the Wild Turkeys have been silent for quite some time. Their last post was simply the word AIDS. I'm not sure what this means, but it probably means that they are struggling with their fall season.
I was back in TRF last week spending quality time with the 'rents. All is well back home!

Re-Entering the Blogosphere!
Well for the guys that couldn't make it, last weekend we played in a tourney. We went 1-2, and didn't get to play on Sunday. Oh well. Here is a picture of Kevin about to jack a bomb probably. Thanks for sending the pic Debi!
After several complaints from prominent league members, we decided to have a live online fantasy football draft. I'll post the results for the first 3 rounds. It was a ton of fun!
Dirty Dozen - Tomlinson, Marshawn Lynch, Reggie Wayne
Bandits - Adrian Peterson, Marion Barber, Drew Brees
Star 69 - Stephen Jackson, Ryan Grant, Steve Smith
GoBigOrGoHome - Tom Brady, Clinton Portis, Laurence Marouney
No Namers - Moss, Favre, Larry Johnson
Winners- Westbrook, Peyton Manning, Braylon Edwards
Defending Champs - Addai, Terrel Owens, Larry Fitzgerald
Adrian4MVP - Gore, Tony Romo, Andre Johnson
This just goes to show, that people from Wisc will always love Brett Favre!
I still think you picked him a little early, but you know what they say, "Thats why we play the game." Couldn't be more true!

The Return of Freedom in Blogdom!!!
I was out of town this weekend, so I didn't update the site at all. I was at a family reunion in Thief River Falls. Boy does that town get down! We got up there Friday night, and immediately started boozing. Most of the fam hit it pretty hard, but since I don't like beer, I stuck to the Beringer White Zin. I woke up Saturday with a massive headache that put me out of commission almost all day. Then my jerk cousin told me the only cure for a white wine hangover was red wine. Man, and I believed him. You should have seen it, around 3 o'clock I was puking my brains out. All I had to eat that day was Hashbrowns and Dr. Pepper. Jeez! No fun.
Dead Money claims their bats are legal, and they only cost $15o. We gotta go get some! You know what they say: Chicks dig the long ball.

a) We should get a couple of new bats for next season. Some team members have brought up the fact that the bats have lost a lot of pop and maybe its time to purchase something new. I was thinking maybe a Miken and a Worth. Anyone else have some suggestions.
b) I set up the fantasy football league on Yahoo! I think we should have between 8-10 guys for the league so that should be good. The league is going to cost $20/person. Thats pretty reasonable. I don't want to hear any complaints guys! The draft order will be decided randomly, and since its really hard to organize a night when we can all be free, I just set it up as an AutoDraft. All that means is that our teams will be selected for us by a computer. This shouldn't be too bad, and hey maybe some of us will actually do better than picking our own team! Just kiddin'.
CHAMPS!
They beat Ballz Deep to win it all! I bet that team has to move up to a more competitive league next year, or at least have their bats checked. Jeez!
Off Season
This off season we need to work on our fielding and conditioning, so that when we meet these teams again in the future, it won't be so embarrassing. Jeez!!!
I started this new website for us, so that we can discuss all things that are softball, like when/where we should practice, should we start having a few beers before the games (or just after), and maybe we can make some new friends. Here is the website for the Wild Turkey's site, it looks like they've been on this for some time:

These guys seem pretty young and funny.
Apparently, Dead Money made a website too. They started theirs much later than the Turkeys so its not as big. These guys seem kind of intense.
